Technology Stack
The Right Tools for Each Project
We choose technologies based on your requirements, not our habits. 25 technologies across frontend, backend, database, mobile, and DevOps.
Frontend
Next.js 15
FrontendNext.js is Dev Remind's primary framework for building high-performance, SEO-ready web applications. We use the App Router with React Server Components for sub-second page loads, incremental static regeneration for 250+ page sites, and Edge middleware for personalised experiences.
React 19
FrontendReact underpins every interactive interface Dev Remind builds. From complex SaaS dashboards to animated marketing pages, we use React 19 Server Components, concurrent rendering, and custom hooks to build composable, maintainable UIs that perform under load.
TypeScript
FrontendDev Remind writes all production JavaScript in TypeScript. Strict typing catches entire categories of runtime bugs at compile time, provides rich autocomplete across the entire codebase, and makes handover to in-house engineering teams dramatically smoother.
Tailwind CSS
FrontendTailwind CSS is Dev Remind's utility-first CSS framework for building consistent, responsive interfaces at speed. Combined with our custom design token system, it enables coherent dark-mode, glass-morphism UIs across every project without fighting specificity battles.
Three.js & WebGL
FrontendThree.js brings Dev Remind's 3D interactive experiences to life in the browser. We use it for product configurators, interactive data visualisations, immersive hero scenes, and WebGL-powered brand experiences that load under 200KB gzipped.
Backend
Node.js
BackendNode.js powers Dev Remind's high-performance API servers and real-time backends. We use it with Express for REST APIs, with Socket.io for real-time features, and with worker threads for CPU-intensive background jobs like PDF generation and report processing.
PHP & Laravel
BackendLaravel is Dev Remind's framework of choice when clients need a mature, battle-tested backend with an elegant ORM, robust queueing, and first-class support for REST and GraphQL APIs. We use Laravel for complex business logic applications and enterprise integrations.
Python Automation
BackendPython handles Dev Remind's automation and data-processing workloads. We build web scraping pipelines, data transformation scripts, scheduled reporting jobs, and AI API integration workflows using Python with async task queues via Celery and Redis.
Database
PostgreSQL
DatabasePostgreSQL is Dev Remind's default relational database for applications requiring transactional integrity, complex queries, and ACID compliance. We design normalised schemas, implement proper indexing strategies, and use Prisma ORM for type-safe database access.
MongoDB
DatabaseMongoDB is Dev Remind's choice for document-oriented workloads — content platforms, product catalogues with variable schemas, and analytics event stores. We use Atlas for managed hosting with automatic scaling and built-in global replication.
Redis
DatabaseRedis serves as Dev Remind's caching, session storage, and message queue backbone for high-traffic applications. We use it to cache expensive database queries, store authenticated sessions securely, and implement rate limiting for public APIs.
Prisma ORM
DatabasePrisma provides type-safe database access for every TypeScript project Dev Remind builds on PostgreSQL or MySQL. Its schema-first approach generates typed query builders, making database refactors safe and providing excellent autocomplete across the entire data layer.
DevOps
Docker & Containers
DevOpsDocker ensures every Dev Remind project runs identically in development, staging, and production. We containerise applications and services, write docker-compose configurations for local development, and build production images optimised for AWS ECS or Kubernetes deployment.
CI/CD & DevOps
DevOpsDev Remind implements automated continuous integration and deployment pipelines on every production project. Using GitHub Actions, we run type checks, unit tests, and security scans on every pull request, with automatic deployment to staging and one-command production release.
Cloud
AWS Cloud
CloudAmazon Web Services hosts the majority of Dev Remind's production deployments. We configure EC2 instances, manage RDS PostgreSQL databases, set up CloudFront CDN distributions, and implement S3-backed file storage with appropriate IAM policies and encryption at rest.
Vercel Edge Platform
CloudVercel is Dev Remind's preferred deployment platform for Next.js applications. Its edge network, automatic preview deployments for every git branch, and zero-configuration CI/CD make it the fastest path from code commit to live feature for marketing sites and SaaS frontends.
Cloudflare
CloudCloudflare sits in front of every production application Dev Remind deploys. We configure WAF rules to block OWASP Top 10 attacks, set up DDoS mitigation thresholds, implement smart caching policies, and use Cloudflare Workers for edge authentication and A/B testing.
API
GraphQL
APIWhen frontends need to query complex nested data efficiently without over-fetching, Dev Remind implements GraphQL APIs. We use Apollo Server on the backend and Apollo Client or urql on the frontend, with proper query complexity limits to prevent denial-of-service.
REST API Architecture
APIREST is Dev Remind's default API architecture for most web and mobile projects. We design resource-oriented endpoints with proper HTTP semantics, implement JWT authentication, apply rate limiting via Redis, and document every endpoint in OpenAPI/Swagger format.
Stripe Payments
APIStripe powers every payment flow Dev Remind builds. We implement Stripe Elements for PCI-compliant checkout, Stripe Billing for subscription management, Stripe Connect for marketplace payouts, and use Stripe Webhooks to update order and subscription state reliably.
